Dangerous for solo travellers. Could have died. Problem was not resolved. Positive: The apartment is clean, and has a beautiful view of the sunset. I really liked the design of the studio. The bed was super comfortable. The people on the front desk are really friendly. Negative: It was a very dangerous apartment to stay in solo. There is a walk in cupboard and because of the wind it slammed behind me. When I tried to open the door, the handle was not functional. The door opens inwards and there would have been NO way of me getting out. The space has no window, is soundproof and the building is empty. No one would have heard me calling and I was in there without a phone or light as the light switch is outside. Extremely fortunately I had a friend visiting who let me out from the outside. He also tested the door and could not get out. It was extremely dangerous. I reported this immediately via booking.com messaging to Tribu living and they noted the situation but sent no one to fix it for the next few weeks I was there. I moved my belongings out of the cupboard and never went in it again incase I became trapped. The same goes for the bathroom, the handles are faulty and I was always afraid to shut the doors. If my friend was not there, I would have been trapped for five days with no light, no air and no water before the cleaners came to the apartment. It is SO dangerous and highly advise against booking if you are travelling solo as the issue was not resolved. Also the studio is right opposite Kanna Club, which is a very very loud and popular nightclub. On a Thursday, Friday and Saturday night I had to use a white noise machines and earplugs, it didn't remove all of the sound and the apartment shakes with the bass. After booking, you will be charged a compulsory charge 500 pesos per week for cleaning. There is no option to clean yourself for longer than one week stay.
